Kathryn Eggert, Executive Director of Anago, and Corinne Walsh, Principal of Platinum Leadership. introduce Anago’s strategic plan.

At Anago, we help at-risk youth and vulnerable adults navigate critical transitions in their lives. That’s what it means to be Anago … to ‘lead from one place to a better place.’

Anago believes in the possibility of transformation, knowing full well the value and dignity of each person. They help individuals cultivate their opportunities, achieve independence and realize their potential. In doing so, they’ve built stronger communities for over fifty years.

Anago is a fabulous not-for-profit charity that provides community justice, mental health and developmental disability services.

Our leadership team and Board of Directors have developed an ambitious strategic plan for the next three years. Our plan is rooted in long-held values, newly named. We believe in transformation, excellence, relationships, respect and accountability. These five values form the acronym ‘TERRA’, the Latin word for ‘earth’ or ‘ground’. We stand proudly on this firm foundation.

Anago’s strategic plan outlines priorities, goals, and strategies informed by more than 120 stakeholders. Between now and 2020, Anago will focus initiatives and resources in three key areas.

1) Our strategic priority of Collaborations and Partnerships will build shared capacities by strengthening existing collaborations and developing new partnerships. New pathways will be available for people in transition to support their integration into the community. We will break down silos, work closer with partners, community members and the individuals we serve.

2) Anago’s focus on Service Excellence will provide need-fulfilling, quality services as they support individuals transitioning into the community. As a result, young people and vulnerable adults will receive more of the care they need, when they need it.

3) Our strategic priority of Sustainability is critical. We will bolster Anago’s financial agility through need-fulfilling, innovative services and enhanced brand loyalty. This will better position us to support individuals, both now and in the future.

Anago’s leadership team has developed a strong operational plan that will guide the implementation of these strategies as the organization shifts from planning to doing. They look forward to communicating with you and all of their stakeholders as they work hard to achieve their goals.

At Anago, we’re excited to embrace Gandhi’s challenge to ‘be the change you wish to see in the world’. We know we are stronger together. Please join us in making a difference in the lives of young people, vulnerable adults and their families of choice.
